COLUMBUS (AP) — Columbus city officials have announced plans to give the Ohio State University Medical Center an income tax rebate in return for the university’s investment of $10 million into east side neighborhoods within 10 years.

State tax returns to be slow
Once again, the term “rapid” won’t be used when referring to state income tax returns this year. According to Carla Snellgrove, public information manager with the Alabama Department of Revenue, it could take “several weeks” from filing to get taxpayers their returns.
